I am getting many messages of returned email stating my bulk emails were blocked. I never sent any. The bulk emails are one of those scams saying I am the wife of a bank manager who has access to a large account of a person who died, etc. It offers to share money in return for help.
The trouble is, I never sent them. My Yahoo email is strictly web based. I have never used a POP email client or anything like that. Is there someone I can contact at Yahoo to stop this? Do their servers have a virus?
I already changed my password.
Any advice will be greatly appreciated.

I use Avast! Antivirus and Thunderbird from Mozilla. It seems my computer as been sending bulk email… and I cant seem to find the virus on my computer. Any ideas?

Thank you Patti, for your swift response and your advice. I checked out senderbase and looked up our ip as well as domain, however it came out clean. I’m 100% sure that we haven’t recieved any viruses either so I’m stumped as to why Yahoo would be blocking us. Is there a way I can contact Yahoo directly and lock down a solution? Given the current posts on Techworld and Slashdot regarding poor email service from Yahoo I won’t be surprised to find there may be a hiccup in their system…

.BodyPart.Charset = “euc-kr”

How do I do the same for the subject line? I’d like to include a line something like:
.Subject = objMessage.EncodeHeader(Subject, “euc-kr”)
but I get “Does not support this method”

I have the same problem in Chinese and Japanese. Advice? Or better yet, VB code?
