I have a store I am promoting and want to send emails to yahoo members

I am not willing to read any mail from people I don’t know in case of viruses - I am still basically wary of computers and have still to find my way.
I find it annoying when people try to contact me in this manner and the time it takes me to delete all messages.
Call me old fashioned but I believe in protocol.

I don’t know how to handle this. I didn’t realize it until I was checking my mail and noticed that a bulk **** email had been sent to me using my own email address. I use yahoo for my email.
