I have my spam blocker on and I am still getting a lot of ( like 30 or 40 a day) junk emails in my bulk folder that are dated for the next day or the day after that. How can I stop this and why am I getting them?

When I come to the welcome page on my Yahoo! email account, it says I have 45873 Bulk emails. Naturally, I went to the Bulk folder to see what the problem was-I do get a lot of spam email, but not THAT much-and when I got the the Bulk email folder, it told me it was empty. After a few days of this, the welcome screen and side folder icons are still telling me I have 45873 Bulk emails, but every time I go to the Bulk folder, it tells me it’s empty! Why is this happening? What’s wrong with my email? Help!

I’m trying to send out a customer survey, but I am getting a lot of bulk email filters. If I send out, say, 50 emails at a time, will that reduce the number of bulk email filters I encounter? I’m currently sending out 500 at a time.
