It appears that the advanced search does not have the option to search the Bulk (SPAM) folder. This is a major bug, since searching it is common to need to find a message that may have been mistakenly caught by the SPAM filter, and with thousands of SPAM emails per day, searching by hand is very time consuming (but that seems to be the only way).
Have to disagree with the answer from 4whoknew. Real email ends up in the SPAM/bulk folder quite frequently and checking it is important. For example, if someone who has never mailed me before (not in my contacts) says they will mail me and it does not show up when they promise, need to check bulk–sometimes it does go there.

I love Yahoo!, but the one problem is that we cannot send bulk emails easily, without being blocked. I am not talking about spam, but rather a newsletter to people who have requested it. I don’t want to set up a Yahoo group because I want to keep each recipient’s address private. Does anyone use Yahoo a lot and know how to overcome this problem?? The ‘help’ pages are no use and the advisors seem to know less than I do about Yahoo mail!

Some of the contacts sent me emails asking why I sent this, I tried to send out a bulk email telling that I DID NOT send this email. My email was not sent so I tried a smaller quantity of contacts for an apology. Now some of my friends and relatives are getting their emails to ‘me’ returned to them noted my email is a demon email. Anyway, what is this ‘demon email’ memo? Help!

My email was hijacked the other day, and a bulk spam email was sent out to all my contacts. I’ve since changed my password and deleted any viruses from my computer. I have many friend’s email IDs (over 100) that I want to add to a category (under Address book) to make a group kind of thing to whom i can send mail without selecting individual email IDs to save time, but when I try to add contacts to a category it asks me to add them one by one which is a big pain to add these many people, is there any other way to add bulk emails in a category.
