I mailed in my IRS tax return at the end of january. I’m g etting hte money direct deposited into my account. How long will it take to receive since I mailed it in and i am getting it direct deposited into my checking account?

Is it too late to have this direct deposited.
That Stinks. All because I used turbo tax and had fees taken out of check even though it was Direct Deposit now I have to wait .. I want to call IRS but they are sick of request by now I am sure

I would prefer to get it sent by direct deposit through my bank account instead receiving the rebate check in my mail in paper form. Thanks for your help.

I was expecting a direct deposit today from the IRS and, up until today, their website said as much. Today not only is my direct deposit not in the bank, the IRS says a check will be mailed out in a week. Kind of sucky as I have always used direct deposit with turbotax and never had a problem before.

I went online to the IRS website to check on the status of my refund. They found an error on my return which caused them to change the amount of my refund. It says that my refund will be mailed on February 27. Is this actually the case. Why can’t they just direct deposit the amount that they corrected it to? They have all the info right in from of them. Is this happening to anyone?

It makes no sense. What is a reason that people choose snail mail over efficient electronic deposit?

Im having a friend do my taxes about 3 hours away and i was wondering if it would be faster to get it direct deposite or mailed to my address i want to get it as soon as possible?

i read that if you used turbotax that you may not recieve it by direct deposit, but by mail instead. i used taxcut. please tell me that it’ll be deposited still.
