Random thought: what if we took all our junk mail, wrote “return to sender” on the envelope, and then sent it back to whoever sent it….of course they would have to eat the postage back…but maybe it’ll discourage junk mailing.

I am doing a direct mail campaign within the city (locally). I wanted to know what is the cheapest stamp can use. The people at USPS are not helpful at all. They told me a 42 cent stamp but that is not true since I get local letters all the time that use a much cheaper stamp. Does someone know? Thanks!

Recently I have sent a registered airmail parcel to France and the recipient has not received the parcel despite more than 5 months.

I have submitted a claim to the local post office but they refuse to compensate me until they receive the reply from the France postal services that the parcel is lost.

Any idea what is the period under Universal Postal Regulation the local post office must compensate the sender of the registered airmail parcel if it is lost? Are the sending post office allow to wait for the receiving post office reply before they make the compensation?

The address on my income tax return is my correct home address. However, I do not like my mail to come to this address for security reasons. Can I change the mailing address for the rebate check to my PO box? Or is direct deposit available for this? If so, where/how can I make these changes?

I haven’t thought about this since college, and I think I need to warn my boss that this might be a bad idea since our regular marketing person is on maternity leave. 3% is ringing a bell, but I think it might be lower….

The original box is being sent and it contains the cd, software manual, etc. Can it legally go media mail rate?

I have a targeted market

A small package that was sent via USPS media mail was sent to me but the person no longer lives here. If I write “return to sender” on the package and drop it in the mailbox will the USPS bring it back to the sender? It was not registered nor insured but had delivery confirmation.
