My Yahoo! email account is telling me I have 45873 Bulk emails, but I don’t! Why is this happening?

When I come to the welcome page on my Yahoo! email account, it says I have 45873 Bulk emails. Naturally, I went to the Bulk folder to see what the problem was-I do get a lot of spam email, but not THAT much-and when I got the the Bulk email folder, it told me it was empty. After a few days of this, the welcome screen and side folder icons are still telling me I have 45873 Bulk emails, but every time I go to the Bulk folder, it tells me it’s empty! Why is this happening? What’s wrong with my email? Help!

Wow! That’s strange. It must be a bug with the mail program.

dont feel alone! my bulk folder has been saying i have 65530 messages for a week now and when i open it it says empty. ive contacted yahoo several times but no answer…its yahoos problem but we’re stuck with it till they do something. sorry. good luck tho!
